Most successful gardens and landscapes originate from a thorough, well thought out design. Working closely with our clients, many ideas and elements are presented and considered before choosing the appropriate direction to take the design. General areas taken into consideration include our client’s style and needs, house architecture, hard surfaces, vertical features such as pergolas, arbors, etc…. and plantings, to name a few.
THE DESIGN/BUILD PROCESS
Creating a beautiful space is a process and it is our goal to help you expose all the potential your property has to offer.
THE INITIAL MEETING – One of our designers will meet with you, walk your property, and discuss your vision, priorities, and expectations. This is our opportunity to get to know you better. Your landscape should be a reflection of your personal style and taste and blend them with the architecture of your home.
This meeting is our chance to show you our portfolio of work and we encourage you to show us pictures from magazines, photos, or books showing the kind of ideas you may have in mind. From this meeting a Design Proposal is then written up and a Cost Estimate is presented to develop Plans for your project.
THE CONCEPTUAL PLAN MEETING – At your home or our design studio, we’ll present conceptual ideas and budgets to build your project. This plan will give you a visual layout of the property outlining your ideas and wish list.
Once you make your decision from this meeting, work will begin on the Final Plan.
THE FINAL PLAN MEETING – Will take place at your house and will include a master plan of your property along with Elevations (if needed), Irrigation, Lighting, and Drainage Plans and a Complete Cost Estimate to build the entire project. The proposed project is then broken down into sections allowing for Phasing if necessary.
